Hello Internet Family!

My name is Caleb Dale Riston. I call you the Internet Family because my Mom and Dad are trying to teach me whether you are lindsey@eskimo.com, 12345@compuserve.com, or http://www.halcyon.com/~friend/home.html. It is so confusing these first few weeks of my life. I was born on March 29, 1995 at 9:57pm and it has been one new thing after another. I never realized how complicated of a world you people live in. So, to take one step at a time, I thought I would try out the World Wide Web by writing this simple home page.

I am torturing Mom and Dad with my crying at night. I love to start my act at about 9-10pm and not stop till about 1-2am when I get tired and want some sleep. Some nights I give them a break by sleeping through the night except for feeding time. Dad has been taking care of me at night, unless Mom is feeding me (The milk tastes great! Yum! Yum!). I have been eating about every 3 hours. I hate it when Mom eats beans! It gives me gas.

In my early weeks my waking days were real short. Every time I opened my eyes I either saw Mom or Dad staring me in my face. At first it scared me, but I am getting used to it. Seeing Dad's whiskers scared me the most! Now that I am older I stay awake longer.

I love to watch Mom and Dad's nose crinkle when they change my diaper after a blow out (a big Number 2). I hate the feel of the cold diaper wipes on my rear end so I give them an ear full with my crying. It seems also that Mom and Dad are stripping me alot and putting new cloths on me. It seems that I pee on them (and me) alot. I hear the washing machine rumbling often downstairs.

You can see from the above picture how I look. I still can't figure out why Mom and Dad are fussing with pictures all the time. The flash on the camera always makes me squint. And then Dad gets out the Video Recorder and tries to get me to make some funky expression. (Note: When viewing any of Dad's pictures remember that the fast forward button is an option).

Well, I hope you like have liked my short letter. Dad made me sit-down and write it. Until next time.

Caleb
